Course Description

COURSE CODE : CPC33020 | CRICOS CODE :103838H

This course provides a trade outcome in residential and commercial construction work. The core units cover the common skills of a bricklayer, block layer or paver who may have responsibility for undertaking heritage bricklaying, refractory bricklaying, bricklaying, block laying and paving work in residential, industrial, and commercial contexts, in both existing and new constructions.

Entry Requirements

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

18 years or older upon commencement of the course.

Required to have successfully completed Year 12 or equivalent.

Required to have successfully completed an LLN test and demonstrate competence for all indicators to enroll for this qualification.

Required to have successfully met one of the English requirements:

    – IELTS: 5.5 (no band below 5.0)

    – TOEFL iBT: 69-79 (no band below 14)

    – TOEFL Paper: 523 (with a min. TWE 3.5)

    – PTE Academic: Overall 46 (no band below 40)

Note: Some assessment tasks are completed using a computer and the internet, and it is essential for the student to possess basic computer skills.
